2026 ECR Capability Development Initiative - Launch event
Description
The Early-Career Researcher Capability Development Initiative (ECR CDI) is a UTS internal funding scheme for Level A and B academics (or equivalent), providing up to $20,000 to successful applicants to develop up to 2 self-selected research capabilities from the Research Outcomes Capability Framework.
In addition, the initiative will fund 5 x 2.5hr workshops run by an external facilitator where awardees develop a 5-year research plan over July-November 2026, in collaboration with nominated mentors and their cohort of peers.
Confirmed guidelines for this scheme will be released soon - for other information about the scheme, you can access this on our SharePoint site: Early / Mid Career Researcher Capability Development Initiative
