Welcome to the 2026 Future Anything Challenge Grand Final!

Join Future Anything as the top school-aged entrepreneurs pitch for a share in $100k in prizes and funding, and the chance to take their idea out of the classroom and into the real world.

This year, more than 10,000 students from over 100 schools have been involved in our global innovation program - The Future Anything Challenge.

Delivered over a term or semester by primary and secondary classroom teachers, young people ideate, prototype, and pitch their own innovative solutions to the most challenging problems in their world.

Join us as our top teams go head-to-head in the 2026 Future Anything Challenge Grand Final to win a share in $100k+ in funding and support to launch their ideas into the real world.

There'll be live pitches in our very own 'Shark Tank' with a panel of expert judges and an exciting Showcase Expo with the chance for you to pick your favourite team in the always hotly-contested People's Vote. Plus, our young entrepreneurs will be selling their wares - so don't forget your wallet!

We'll also unveil the winners of the 2026 Future Anything Challenge Educator Awards.  

Attend in person at The Thomas Dixon Centre in Brisbane, or register for a livestream ticket to watch live from anywhere in the world.

Agenda (exact timings subject to change):

• 5pm AEST: Arrival + visit the Showcase Expo to check out teams' expo displays - don't forget to cast your vote for your favourite!

• 6pm - 8.45pm AEST: Grand Final Pitch Event - live in person and online. There will be a short intermission during the event. 

(NB Students who are pitching and showcasing on the night DO NOT NEED TO BOOK TICKETS through this site. Seats will be reserved for all pitching & showcasing students. Caregiver/teachers supporting finalists DO NEED TO BOOK a ticket for themselves.) 

Transport Information

Public Transport

Public transport options include the Blue CityGlider, which stops directly outside the Thomas Dixon Centre (Raven Street stop), and the CityCat, which services the West End Ferry Terminal—approximately a 7-minute walk from the venue.

Train

The South Brisbane Train Station is the closest station, located adjacent to the Cultural Centre which is serviced by the bus route listed above. 

Parking

To park, please approach the boom gate and tap your payment card or mobile phone for tap and pay. On exit, please tap the same card. Your parking rate will be calculated, and your card charged for the duration of your stay. Car Park Hours: Monday 6am – 9pm. Credit and Debit Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay accepted (Please see parking rates here).

Drop Off

There is a designated drop off zone at the front of the main entrance on Drake Street for taxis, rideshare, and visitors.
