2026 Greenpower Australia Hobart Heat (F24/F24+)

⚡🏁 Greenpower Australia is coming to Hobart!

For the first time, the Greenpower Australia F24 and F24+ electric vehicle challenge is heading to Baskerville Raceway for the 2026 Hobart Heat.

Join us for an action-packed day of student-built electric vehicles, engineering, innovation, teamwork and racing as young people put their designs, problem-solving and driving skills to the test on one of Tasmania’s most iconic circuits.

Greenpower is much more than motorsport. Teams design, build, test and continually improve their vehicles while developing real-world skills in engineering, sustainability, electronics, fabrication, data, teamwork and leadership.

The Hobart Heat will feature:

🏁 Formula 24 (F24) – electric vehicle racing for young people aged 11–16
⚡ Formula 24+ (F24+) – the next step in the Greenpower pathway for young people aged 16–25
🔧 Student engineering and innovation
🏎️ Practice and endurance racing throughout the day
🤝 Schools, families and the growing Greenpower community coming together from across Tasmania

Following an incredible Sydney Heat and the continued growth of Greenpower Australia throughout 2026, we can’t wait to bring the program to Hobart for the first time.

Everyone is welcome

You don’t need to be part of a competing team to come along. Families, educators, young people, prospective schools, industry, STEM enthusiasts and anyone curious about Greenpower are warmly invited to experience the event.

We especially encourage schools and organisations considering joining Greenpower Australia in 2027 to come along, meet teams and see the program in action.

We want this event to be accessible to everyone. Tickets are offered with flexible pricing, including a free option.
