Event: 2026 International Volunteer Day Garden Party

General information

Travel instructions

Paid parking is available on Terrace Road (CPP Terrace Road, and CPP Concert Hall) directly across from the garden entry gates.

Entry instructions

This outdoor event is wheelchair accessible. The entry driveway is compacted gravel, and the grounds are lawn. Enter via the large entry gate on the corner of Terrace Road and Governors Avenue.

After entry instructions

Volunteering WA Staff will check-in guests on arrival, and show you to your table.

Hazards

The entry to the outdoor venue is compacted gravel, whilst the garden party itself is hosted on the lawns. Savoury and sweet canapes will be served throughout the event, however if you must take any medication with food we would suggest bringing something with you in case food service times don't align with your medication schedule. This is a summer event, and can get very hot. St John Volunteer First Aiders will be on site throughout the event, if you feel unwell, dehydrated or experience sun stroke.

Toilet location

Upon entry to the Gardens, a large accessible porta-toilet will be to your left on the gravel driveway.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking bays are located in the City of Perth Terrace Road Car Park, immediately across from the garden party entry gate.

Wheelchair - table seating plan

Please note wheelchair access in your booking form, and our team will allocate one of the tables on the outer rows of the table settings.
