2026 Mother's Day High Tea

This Mother’s Day, treat mum to a high tea in The Grounds of Alexandria Garden, surrounded by leafy greenery, blooming flowers, and the prettiest little corners to explore. Delicate bites and sweet treats are ready, all that’s left is to sit, sip, and enjoy the day together!

Your menu includes:

• Poached chicken finger sandwich, with celery and mayo.

• Salted beef finger sandwich, with Swiss cheese, fennel slaw, and pickle sauce.

• Poached lobster choux, with crème fraîche, fennel, and caviar.

• Truffled mushroom tartlet, with caremelised onion and fontina.

• Chicken and water chestnut sausage roll, with roasted tomato relish and aioli.

• Rhubarb and strawberry shortcake.

• Lychee, raspberry and rose water roll.

• Grapefruit, almond, and vanilla tartlet.

• White chocolate and orange blossom macaron.

• Scone with home-made raspberry and citrus jam.

And for the little ones, we've put together something special:

• Chicken mayo and lettuce sandwich

• Turkey and cream cheese sandwich

• Chicken and water chestnut sausage roll

• Mini tomato and cheese quiche

• White chocolate-dipped strawberry with sprinkles

• Red velvet cookie

• Strawberry custard tart

• Passionfruit melting moment

Make the day extra sparkly with our optional bottomless drinks package, available to purchase on the day, featuring prosecco, mimosas, and bellinis. Just ask your server and get ready to toast Mum in style!

Important Information

• Tables can be booked for 2-6 guests. If your group is 7+ guests, please call us on (02) 9699 2225 to discuss seating options. Every guest must have a valid ticket to join this experience.

• Please plan to arrive at least 10-minutes early so you can be shown to your table and enjoy the full 90-minute high tea experience.

• Alcohol is available to guests aged 18+ years after 10am. Please bring photo ID, as The Grounds practices the responsible service of alcohol.

• Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 5 days prior to the event. Please note that refunds cover the ticket face value only, as booking fees are set by Humanitix.

• The menu can be adjusted for vegetarian and gluten-free. Unfortunately other modifications aren't available. Unfortunately no menu modifications can be made within 5 days of the event.

• Not all ingredients are listed on the menu. Our kitchen nuts, shellfish, gluten, and eggs. While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee allergen-free food.

• Sorry, this is a no pets event, so please leave the pups at home!

• Styling may differ from the images shown. Please leave all candles, flowers, and tableware behind after your experience to avoid additional charges.
