2026 NCLS Info Sessions

Every five years since 1991, thousands of Christian churches in Australia have taken part in the National Church Life Survey (NCLS). It is now the largest, longest running survey of church life in the world. The 2026 NCLS will be a critical church health check after the disruption of COVID.

To run the next 2026 NCLS, we rely on a close partnership with denominations and regions

All denominational leaders are invited to attend a 45 minute online Info Session in October.

Choose from seven timeslots between 13th and 21st October.

• Hear the current ideas and plans for 2026 NCLS

• Give your feedback on options presented

• Ask questions and make suggestions.

Proposals for your denomination will be circulated prior to this time. Your denomination will be asked to indicate how you will engage with the 2026 NCLS by the end of 2025.

Dr Ruth Powell, Executive Director, and Dr Sam Sterland, senior researcher will be part of these Info Sessions.
