2026 NO MORE Walk against Domestic and Family Violence

Event Summary:
Join us for the annual NO MORE March at Casuarina Square - a community-led stand against domestic and family violence. This event is FREE and for all the community.

This year, we honour the women who have lost their lives to violence in the Northern Territory and recognise the many actions created through THE STAND. Together, we’ll continue building a Territory where everyone feels safe, respected and free from violence.

As part of the event, we will also announce the Darwin Region Changemaker and the NT Changemaker of the Year as part of the inaugural Charlie King Changemaker Awards.

Named in honour of NO MORE founder Dr Charlie King AM, the awards recognise individuals, organisations, groups and initiatives taking meaningful action to prevent domestic and family violence across the Northern Territory. A Changemaker could be a community member, Elder, sporting club, workplace, advocate, frontline worker, program or organisation — anyone helping make their community safer.

Across the Northern Territory, people are already taking practical steps to create change. Through THE STAND, we want to recognise those actions and celebrate the people showing that preventing violence is something all of us can play a part in.

The NO MORE Campaign, founded by Dr Charlie King AM and delivered by CatholicCare NT, works with communities across the NT to develop practical, local solutions to end violence. Every step, every action and every conversation makes a difference.

Walk with us to honour lives lost, recognise community-led action, celebrate our Changemakers and encourage more people to take a stand and say NO MORE to family violence.

We encourage attendees to make signs, wear orange or purple, and bring along your colleagues, friends and families. Register now to receive updates on the march and to help us with logistical organisation.
