2026 NSW Jewish Board of Deputies AGM
Description
We are delighted to invite you to the 81st Annual General Meeting of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies.
This year we welcome Ben English, Editor of The Daily Telegraph, as our guest speaker. With more than three decades in journalism, Ben has covered many of Australia's most significant stories and has been a steadfast supporter of the Jewish community, using his platform to speak out against antisemitism and promote unity. In the wake of the Bondi tragedy and the rise in antisemitism, he led impactful editorial coverage calling on all Australians to stand against targeted hatred, emphasising that an attack on the Jewish community is an attack on the fabric of our nation.
This year's AGM will also mark the conclusion of David Ossip's four-year presidency. David has guided the community through one of the most challenging periods in recent memory and the AGM will provide an opportunity to acknowledge David's significant contribution to our community.
All members of the community are warmly invited to attend and be part of this significant occasion.
Please note, this is an IN-PERSON ONLY event. The location of the AGM will be provided to registered guests approximately 48hrs ahead of the event.
As the organisers of this event, the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies (NSWJBD) will collect attendees' personal information. The NSWJBD's privacy policy can be found here.
