General admission - public (over 14 yrs) ticket
1. Admission and pricing • Standard adult fee: General public admission is $10 per adult per day. • Ticket validity: Tickets grant single-day access to the rally, including the vintage tractor pull and machinery working displays. • Refunds: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable within 7 days of the event, except as required under Australian Consumer Law (e.g., event cancellation). 2. Machinery and exhibition hazards • Safety barriers: Attendees must remain behind safety fencing, bunting, and designated barriers at all times. • Exhibitor areas: No unauthorised public entry is permitted into active machinery loading zones, mechanical pits, or tractor pull staging areas. • Prohibited contact: Touching, climbing on, or operating any vintage tractors, stationary engines, or historic vehicles without explicit permission from the owner is strictly forbidden. 3. Photography and drone use • Personal photography: Commercial use of any photos, video, or audio recorded at the event requires formal written permission from the organisers. • Drone ban: Remotely piloted aircraft (drones) are completely banned from operating anywhere above the Stanthorpe Showgrounds due to safety risks. [1] • Crowd release: By entering the grounds, attendees consent to being photographed or filmed by authorised event media for promotional purposes. 4. Venue and camping conditions • Traffic management: A strict 5 km/h speed limit applies to all moving vehicles and machinery inside the showground gates. • Fire rules: Open campfires are completely prohibited across the grounds, though contained gas BBQs are permitted. • Night restrictions: The main showground gates will close each evening, and curfew/noise levels must be significantly reduced after 7:00 PM. • Environmental rules: In compliance with Queensland legislation, single-use plastic bags are entirely banned from use by any stallholders, exhibitors, or patrons on site. 5. No-dog / No-pet policy • Strict prohibition: Domestic pets, including dogs, are strictly prohibited from entering the showground venue or camping areas during the event. • Exceptions: This ban does not apply to certified medical assistance animals (e.g., Guide Dogs) wearing official identification vests. • Enforcement: Any attendee who brings a non-exempt pet to the gates will be denied entry, and anyone found with a pet inside the venue will be asked to leave. 6. Behaviour and Right of refusal • Alcohol: BYO alcohol is prohibited on the showgrounds. Any licensed areas require valid photo identification (e.g., an Australian driver's license). • Right of refusal: Event organisers reserve the right to evict any attendee displaying unsafe behaviour, failure to follow marshal instructions, or visible intoxication.
