Street Art Walking Tour

Walk with mural artist Lucinda Penn and discover hidden gems among the murals of the Eastern Adelaide CBD.

Starting near South Terrace and walking through the Eastern CBD to Rundle Street, this tour visits four murals which kick-started Lucinda's career, a site of one that has recently been lost, and six other pieces in diverse styles by her colleagues.

Lucinda will share her local knowledge as well as insights on mural painting techniques and what might influence an artist's subject matter, design and colour palettes.

Tour departs from the corner of Charlotte Place and Louisa Street, Adelaide at 1pm - be sure to arrive 10minutes prior.

At the conclusion of the tour, you are free to make your own way back to the starting point or continue on your way exploring more of SALA.

About your Guide

Lucinda Penn (LCND) bridges the worlds of art and design, creating symbolic, colour-driven works ranging from murals to intricate digital illustrations that deconstruct the human experience. Deeply committed to connection and community, she has mentored more than 800 participants across painting her 55 murals. Based on Kaurna Land, her recent work includes murals in Melbourne and internationally in Spain, Berlin, and London, and she received a Carclew Project Grant to undertake a collaborative mural project in India in late 2026.

Lucinda’s work has been recognised with awards from Resene Paint (2023, NZ) Good Design Australia (2024), and she was a finalist in the 2025 SA Young Achiever Awards.

This 90-minute, outdoor walking tour covers a total of 2.3km.

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and keep an eye on the weather forecast to see if you'll need an umbrella.

At the conclusion of the tour, you are free to make your own way back to the starting point (a further 35minute walk or hop aboard a FREE City Connector Bus!
