About SILA
SILA is an evidence-based program specifically developed to meet the needs of Australian for-purpose CEOs and build the capacity of their organisations through financial investment, leadership development and tailored executive coaching. Delivered by the Centre for Social Impact, the program is a $26.8million collaboration between five of Australia’s major foundations: The Myer Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund, the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, the Paul Ramsay Foundation and Snow Foundation. Thanks to their extraordinary vision and generosity, participating CEOs and their organisations do not pay any costs to partake in the world-class program.
The Impact of SILA
Over ten years this philanthropic investment will support a total of 240 exceptional CEOs, as well as their 240 executive counterparts who step in during sabbaticals, and over 350 board directors. Together, they form an exceptional national network of senior leaders who continue to collaborate, learn and influence sector-wide change.
To date, more than 120 for-purpose CEOs from across Australia have already completed the transformative SILA program. Independent evaluation shows:
99% of CEOs agreed SILA made a positive difference in their organisation
91% say SILA strengthened capability and culture across their organisation
SILA has a Net Promoter Score of 96 making it a world-class program
On top of this, SILA directs nearly one-third of funding back to the organisations as an untied capacity-building resource. Collectively, this ensures SILA’s impact extends far beyond the leaders themselves, creating lasting ripples throughout organisations, communities, and networks that continue to flourish long after the program concludes.
