Grab your mates, pick a team name and get ready for seven weeks of Summer Touch!

No trials. No grading. No experience needed. Just a fun, social 7-a-side Touch Football competition for kids, families and friends.

TEAM REGISTRATION

Standard Team: $1,125
Includes registration for 9 players.

Want to add a 10th or 11th player?
Additional players are $125 each. Please contact us and we’ll send you the additional-player registration link.

Family & Friends Competition: $625 per team
Includes 10 players: 5 adults + 5 kids.

If a child is already registered in another Summer Touch team, they can play in Family & Friends at no additional charge.

5:00pm – 5:30pm | Year 4
5:30pm – 6:00pm | Year 5
6:00pm – 6:30pm | Year 6
6:30pm – 7:00pm | Year 7

THURSDAY

4:00pm – 4:30pm | Kindy / Year 1
4:30pm – 5:00pm | Year 2 / Year 3
5:00pm – 5:30pm | Year 5
5:30pm – 6:00pm | Year 7
6:00pm – 6:30pm | Year 8 / Year 9
6:30pm – 7:00pm | Family & Friends

Game times are indicative and may change slightly once registrations close and the final draw is prepared.

HOW TO SECURE YOUR TEAM'S SPOT

One person needs to put their hand up to be Team Manager.

The Team Manager:

• Registers the team
• Pays the full team registration fee
• Provides the team details requested at registration
• Becomes our main contact for the season

We do not accept individual player payments.

Once your team has registered and paid, we’ll email you the Individual Player Registration Form for every player to complete for insurance purposes.

IMPORTANT: FIRST IN, FIRST SERVED

Summer Touch keeps getting bigger, so places are allocated on a first paid and registered basis.

The first teams fully paid and registered in each year group will receive priority.

Once an age group reaches capacity, additional teams will be waitlisted. We’ll confirm any available places after registrations close.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is registration by age, such as U7s?

No. Summer Touch is organised by school year group.

If your child is in Year 3, register them in Year 3. Easy!

Can my child play in a different year group?

Players should play in their current school year group.

Playing down a year is not permitted. Players may play up one year.

Do teams have to be mixed?

No. But it is more fun if they are.

Your team can be all boys, all girls or any combination you like. There are no minimum gender ratios.

How many players should we have?

There are 7 players on the field.

We strongly recommend registering at least 9 players, giving you two reserves each week.

Teams can register up to 11 players.

We don't have all 9 players yet. Can we still register?

If you have at least 7 yes.

If you're short, email us after registering with your team name and what you're looking for. We’ll do our best to connect you with players looking for teams once registrations close.

MJRC cannot guarantee players or form teams on your behalf.

What should players wear?

Keep it simple.

Comfortable activewear, trainers and a team T-shirt.

Teams should wear the same colour shirt. School sports shirts work perfectly, or grab inexpensive matching tees from Kmart or Big W.

No football boots.

Headgear and mouthguards are not required.

Does my child need to know how to play Touch?

Absolutely not.

There is no grading and we welcome players of all abilities.

The whole idea is to get outside, play with your mates and have fun.

Do we need a Team Manager?

Yes.

Every team needs one Team Manager who registers and pays for the team and becomes our point of contact.

The Team Manager is also responsible for organising player substitutions on game night. And controlling the behaviour of your team we are not babysitters. There MUST be a parent on site with kids at all times otherwise teams will not be permitted to play. We've got over 350 kids to look after.

When will we receive the draw?

We aim to have the season draw ready by the Manager's Night so you'll know exactly when and who you're playing each week.

Will there be food at Rawson?

The best BBQ in town will be firing and the canteen will be pumping on Summer Touch nights, so dinner is sorted too.

THE FINE PRINT

Team registration is $1,125 and includes 9 players.

Please list all 7 players when registering, you may enter TBC for the remaining 2 places and update them later.

All players must complete their individual registration before playing.

Non-registered players are not covered by insurance and cannot take the field.

Active Kids Vouchers cannot be used.

Registrations are non-refundable.

MJRC cannot form or manage teams and cannot guarantee that individual players will be available to fill vacancies.

For the safety of the kids, dogs and angry parents are not permitted on Rawson Oval in accordance with Mosman Council requirements.
