Welcome to our 2026 season membership platform!

In our 4th season we are excited to continue building the club through upholding our values of community, respect and participation. Our focus this year will centre on up-skilling our members, adding exciting new events, and broadening our range of activities. With a holistic view on the surfer gal life, we believe it is important to not only have fun surfing, but to also grow our knowledge, connect with like-minded people, move our bodies well, and give back to the amazing environment that Mother Nature has provided us.

Important Info:

- Surf Sisters are a NON-COMPETITIVE boardriders club, with a focus on social connection and inclusivity

- The club is a not-for-profit organisation, meaning 100% of the funds go back into our members

- Full memberships are offered to female adults 18+ years - all abilities and backgrounds

- A mix of social events and club rounds will be held throughout the year

Club Membership Options:

All of our memberships are valid for the 2026 calendar year, ending on 31/12/26. There are two levels available, full membership and social membership, details for both are below. The 2026 event dates are also outlined below, please note these are provisional and are dependant on the conditions, weather and venue availability (may be subject to change, members will be notified in a timely manner if required).

Full membership - $100

• Entry into all 4 club rounds

• 2026 Club t-shirt 

• Catering at all club rounds

• Member’s prices to our social events (Season Launch party, Wine & Waves, workshops)

• Seas the Day Surf Festival member access to club accommodation arrangements and team activities.

• Exclusive access to ocean skills and surf skills clinics (limited numbers for each event)

• Weekly sunrise squads weather and conditions permitting (beginner and intermediate levels)

• Photography at club rounds and events

• Discounts offered by our sponsors and partners

• Access to our member only online group to stay updated on surf meet ups, club events and help you stay connected to our wonderful community

Three of our local club rounds will be held at either Bokarina Beach or Mudjimba Beach, TBC prior to event depending on conditions. Our special club round in August will be a collaborative event with our sister club the Gold Coast Surf Witches as we reciprocate by hosting the round this year on the Sunshine Coast. All of our social events will be held throughout the Sunshine Coast region, exact locations will be notified shortly prior to the event. 

When it comes to club rounds they are very much non-competitive, they are a chance to participate in a judgement free environment, free surfing in your chosen division with prizes for the most stoked, best wipeout, etc. All abilities are welcomed, however for safety we do require you to have a basic understanding of ocean safety, surf etiquette, and board control. Our club round divisions are - White Wash Warriors (Beginners), Green Wave Groovers (Advanced Beginners), Confident Cruisers (Low Intermediate), Shredding Sisters (Advanced Intermediate), and Longboard Queens (all levels, 9ft+ boards). Ocean skills clinics will be open to all levels, however spots will be limited. Surf clinics will be aimed at our members at beginner-advanced beginner and intermediate levels, however there is potential for this to change depending on our member demographic.

• This membership is required to be able to volunteer on event/club rounds days

This membership option is open to all wishing to join the community without participating in the surfing. Available to all ages and gender.

2026 Club T-shirts 

Club t-shirts are included in your membership and will be available for collection from our first club round and at every following event throughout the year. Sizing is unisex and is a true to size fit. Note: We cannot offer postage for items.

Insurance 

The club is affiliated with governing bodies Surfing Australia and Surfing Queensland, meaning the club has public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance up to $20m. While your membership goes toward’s the club’s insurance it does not cover you for personal accidents and injuries. We strongly recommend purchasing private insurance through Surfing Australia, this will cover you any time you surf if you have an accident or injury. Group surfs and surf clinic dates will be confirmed throughout the year depending on conditions. Please note that all events are dependent on conditions and venue availability, we will do our best to stick to these dates but sometimes it may not be possible and we appreciate your understanding for any changes that need to be made. Clinics will have limited availability.
