WARRNAMBOOL MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL 2026
Come celebrate the many cultures, stories, flavours and talents that make our community so vibrant!
Join us for a FREE day of music, dance, food, culture, hands-on activities and community connection at the Warrnambool Multicultural Festival.
Saturday 7 November 2026
10am–3pm
Civic Green & Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool

LIVE MUSIC & CULTURAL PERFORMANCES
Enjoy a vibrant program of performances from across Australia and around the world - from energetic Indian Rajasthani and Nepalese dances, Thai traditional dance, Chinese dance, Filipino and Indigenous Igorot dances, to Scottish Highland pipes and Irish traditional music.
The stage will also come alive with folk-pop, rock, jazz, Japanese City Pop, Vietnamese and Malaysian-Australian singing, contemporary performances and songs from across the globe.
And don't just watch - join in! The Igorot Indigenous Group will invite members of the public to take part in a traditional gathering dance.
TASTE YOUR WAY AROUND THE WORLD
Come hungry!
Explore an incredible range of food and drinks from local and regional businesses, including Nepalese momos, dumplings, bao, Balkan bites, Indian and Asian flavours, woodfired pizza, burgers, ice cream, donuts, slushies, coffee and more.
Whether you want a full meal, a sweet treat or something refreshing, there'll be plenty to tempt you.
HANDS-ON CULTURAL WORKSHOPS
Head into the Lighthouse Theatre foyer and get creative!
Take part in hands-on workshops and activities where you can make, create, learn and experience different cultures for yourself. There'll be opportunities for people of all ages to get involved - so don't just watch the festival, be part of it!
SHOP, CREATE & DISCOVER
Browse a wonderful mix of local makers, artists and small businesses, with handmade crafts, crochet, resin creations, crystals, Indigenous art, books, fresh produce and more.
You can even stop by for a henna design or enjoy balloon art for the little ones.
CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY
Meet local community organisations, cultural groups and services, including South West TAFE, South West Skills & Jobs Centre, South West Sport, Wannon Water, Women's Health and Wellbeing Barwon South West, Warrnambool Community Garden, The F Project and many more.
You'll also have the chance to connect with cultural and community groups celebrating their heritage, including the Dutch Community Group Warrnambool, Embroidered Hope – Colombia Friendship Initiative and others.

With 40+ stalls, live performances, hands-on workshops, cultural experiences, delicious food and family-friendly activities, there is something for everyone - whether you're coming with family and friends, discovering a new culture, supporting local businesses, or simply enjoying a great day out.
