2026 Zero Waste Forum

The 3rd Annual Zero Waste Forum is organized by Race to Zero Waste in partnership with Park City, National Recycling Coalition, and GreenEducation.US. The Forum is a convergence of thought-provoking zero waste leaders, national experts, and youth advocates all working towards a waste-free world. The inspiring three-day event will include a Zero Waste Expo & build on zero waste conversations for an enriching experience that includes national & international speakers, group activities, and dynamic discussions.

The three-day in-person Zero Waste Forum will take place on April 21-23, 2026, at the Jim Santy Auditorium, located in downtown Park City, UT. The Forum presentations will be available on April 22-23 online and in person.

• Recycle Utah Tour Day 1 (April 21st 4:00 pm - 4:45 pm) - limited to 20 people

• Zero Waste Expo & Workshops Day 1 (April 21st 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

  • The Zero Waste Expo & Workshops will include:

    • Zero Waste Toxic-Free Wellness Workshop (5:30-6:15pm)

    • Microplastic talk (6:30-6:45pm)

    • Zero Waste Repair Demo (6:45-7:30pm)

    • Plastic-free living solutions

    • Light bites and drinks

    • Networking opportunities

    • Forum Registration and badge pick up

• Zero Waste Forum Day 2 (April 22nd 9:00 am-5:30 pm) - online & in-person

  • Keynote Speakers - Bradley Parry from The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation, Steve Jewett from Earthday.org, Britt Gondolfi from Bioneers, Samuel McMullen from ZeroWaste.org, and Pal Martensson from World Cleanup Day.

    Be inspired and listen to dynamic local, national, and international speakers who work toward building resilient zero waste communities. Join the Zero Waste Labs in the afternoon for a hands-on approach to knowledge sharing.

    Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided this day. 

• Zero Waste Forum Day 3 (April 23rd 9:00 am-4:00 pm) - online & in-person

  • Keynote Speakers - Dr. Vijay Jagannathan from World Resources Institute, Christopher Dipnarine from 4MyCity, Ulu Makuakane from Recycle Hawai'i, and David Ly from ReFED.

    Be inspired by dynamic local, national, and international speakers who work toward building resilient zero waste communities. Speakers will be present about reuse systems, plastic pollution, grassroots efforts, data and technology, science, and other topics to solve the global waste crisis.  

    Coffee breaks and lunch will be provided this day. 

    • Recycle Utah Tour Day 4 (April 24th 10:00 am - 10:45 am) - limited to 20 people
