Artificial Intelligence is no longer just for big organisations with big budgets. Smaller organisations, NFPs and freelancers can now access powerful AI tools to level the playing field — enhancing research, strategy, communications and operational efficiency.

This full-day, highly practical workshop is designed specifically for people working in not-for-profits, advocacy and small business environments. We explore the practical, ethical, technical and style issues associated with this game-changing tool and provide a suite of accessible and affordable tools to enhance what you do.

We focus on real-world applications, helping you use AI tools to boost your impact without losing your human voice. You will leave not only with new skills, but with draft materials you can immediately use in your work — plus the confidence to continue experimenting and applying AI tools intelligently.

Participants should bring a laptop or tablet and will be asked to set up a ChatGPT account prior to the day.

• Using AI for research, stakeholder analysis and strategy development

• Building a ready-to-go Media Pack (media release, social media tile, email, blog post, poster)

• Prompt engineering essentials: getting the outputs you want

• Real-world case studies and hands-on exercises

• Style, tone and authenticity: avoiding robotic outputs

• Guided challenge session: apply AI to your real-world project

SCHOLARSHIPS
