The Respect for People Roadmap is a hands-on learning experience that helps leaders and teams strengthen the conditions, mindsets, and behaviors that compound both.

It focuses on the everyday interactions that shape trust, candor, and performance-how people listen, respond, raise issues, handle tension, and follow through.

Over time, these interactions shape how work moves through an organization: whether issues surface early, decisions hold, teams coordinate smoothly, and people feel good about how work gets done.

What you’ll strengthen

Whether you lead an organization, a function, a team-or contribute as an individual-the work is similar: improving how you show up in the interactions that shape outcomes.

Through the program, you’ll strengthen your ability to navigate tension without adding friction, surface issues earlier, give and receive feedback more constructively, and respond to challenges in ways that build trust and clarity rather than defensiveness.

You’ll also develop stronger habits around follow-through, collaboration across differences, and communication that improves coordination and ownership across teams.

These capabilities support stronger leadership capacity, healthier team dynamics, culture change efforts, employee experience, and more reliable execution across the organization.

Who it’s for

Open enrollment brings together a small cohort of participants across industries, functions, and levels of responsibility. Some join for their own professional development, some to evaluate the program for their organization, and some attend with a small group from their team.

Participants include executives, operations leaders, managers, team leaders, and individual contributors who want to strengthen the everyday interactions that shape trust, accountability, and results.

How the journey works

The Respect for People Roadmap is designed to fit alongside real work rather than pull you away from it. Over 15 weeks, participants move through a blend of self-paced learning, reflection, practice, and live cohort conversations. The structure allows you to absorb ideas gradually, apply them in real situations, and return with new insights and experiences.

The journey moves through three regions, each focused on a different set of capabilities that shape how people work together.

Region 1 — Engage with Compassion

Practice noticing and diffusing the judgments and assumptions that create unnecessary tension, distort decision-making, and strain team dynamics.

Region 2 — Treat People Like They Matter

Strengthen awareness of others’ contributions and the influence we have on others’ experience of work. Explore practical ways to recognize others’ strengths and create interactions that strengthen team cohesion.

Region 3 — Partner for Mutual Benefit

Build the skills that enable more effective collaboration by learning how to engage others in solving problems, seek input from different perspectives, and work through disagreement in ways that build trust and improve the quality of decisions.

Time Commitment

The program takes place over 15 weeks punctuated by 6 live group sessions called Roadside Reflections where participants pause, reflect, and discuss how the learning is showing up in their work.

Most participants spend 20–30 minutes per day engaging with the video micro lessons between sessions.
