The Art of the Montessori Presentation
What makes a Montessori presentation different from simply showing a child how to use a material? In this session, we will look behind the presentation to explore the techniques that make Montessori lessons purposeful, precise and engaging. We will consider movement, language, positioning, sequence, economy of words, observation and the child's role in the learning process — and discover how these seemingly small details can make a significant difference to the child's experience.
