20 Years of Climate & Sustainability Action - Community Celebration, Expo & Exhibition

𓍢ִ໋🍃✿°.💚 20 Years of Climate & Sustainability Action in Mt Alexander Shire 𓍢ִ໋🍃✿°.💚

Join us on the 29th November to acknowledge, celebrate and inspire future action!

20 years ago MASG became incorporated, as a grassroots movement led by Neil and Heather Barrett, dedicated to action on climate change and sustainable living. Since then there has been significant action taken, change brought about and establishment of new groups-organisations-projects. We also acknowledge the actions not taken, urgent changes not made and the ongoing progression of climate change.

This event is a celebration of the positive impacts, acknowledgement of ongoing work and highlighting the strength of our collective action.

And we're doing it with food, music, art and community!!

Come along to connect with climate-sustainability-environment actors and leaders of past, present and future. Explore the development of our Community Timeline of Local Climate & Sustainability Action, and contribute your voice to this mapping. Learn about current local groups, organisations and projects!

When: 4pm - 7pm Sunday 29th November 2026

Where: Lot 19, McShanag Drive, Castlemaine
