The 27th Conference of Parties (COP27) will be a significant marker of progress in the fight against climate change, providing an opportunity to address the need for stronger commitments and enhanced accountability in reaching net-zero emissions targets.
The UN Global Compact Network Australia will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday 18 October 11:00am – 12:30pm to explore the key themes and outcomes expected to be discussed at COP27, including mitigation, adaptation, finance and the need for a just transition.
This year’s webinar will bring together representatives from Australian business, government, and academia in order to understand how these key priorities can be understood as well as translated into an Australian business context.
