Have you been thinking of writing a children's or young adult book? Maybe you already have a manuscript and want to understand the next steps?

Join award-winning children's author Ash Harrier (aka Sasha Wasley) for an enlightening session all about writing books for children. This session will cover:

  • The many options when writing for kids
  • Key things to know before you pitch your book
  • Industry trends and the kids' book market in Australia
  • Q&A - ask Ash anything!

Bookings are essential for this workshop. Light refreshments will be available.

About Ash Harrier: 

Ash Harrier (she/her) is the Boorloo-based author of YA and middle grade fiction, including the Alice England Mysteries for middle readers, and the Circle of Seven YA series. Her books have been shortlisted for the WA Premier's, WAYBRA, Readings, Davitt and SCBWI Golden Kite (international) awards. She loves puzzles, weird facts and nature. Ash is an Ambassador for Books in Homes Australia, which helps children build their home libraries. She also writes adult fiction as Sasha Wasley.
