24 Days of Features Overview

All events below are open to the public, with no registration required.

Dec. 1: Double Down on Gift Cards. On Sunday, December 1st, buy $50 worth of gift cards for 8Eleven Modern Bistro or for The Spa Union Club Hotel, and get a $25 gift card for free! No limit.

Dec. 2: Cookie Decorating Class. Start the sweetness of the season with this elevated twist on a holiday tradition! Join us in the Directors room from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Hot chocolate station included in per-person price. Tickets here. 

Dec. 3: Wreath Making Class (1 of 2). Join us & 21 Petals Flower Farm for this creative opportunity to craft a meaningful part of your holiday decor. Class from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets here. 

Dec. 4: 25% Off at Boiler Up Bar. Come in from the cold and warm yourself up with 25% off any appetizer at Boiler Up Bar. Boiler Up Bar is open from 11 a.m. to midnight. 

Dec. 5: Scavenger Hunt. Find 10 miniature bunnies hidden around campus and the hotel, get a free coffee beverage at Leap's Coffee Shop. Find one of 5 Golden Bunnies, receive a $25 gift card to Leaps Coffee Shops. NOTE: the bunnies will be hidden a week or two before this date, but are only redeemable on this date. So, search early, search often! The first people in line will receive a special Leaps Day mug, which automatically qualifies them to receive a free beverage at Leaps every 29th day of the month until 2028.  

Dec. 6: Polar Express Night. All aboard for an unforgettable evening of family festivities! Train rides start at 5 p.m. and the film begins at 6:30 p.m. Christmas pajamas are encouraged! Tickets here. 

Dec. 7: Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy the most important meal of the day with Jolly Old St. Nick himself! Tickets here. 

Dec. 8: Hogwarts Dinner. Join us at 8Eleven Modern Bistro for our annual Hogwarts-themed four-course dinner with a cocktail paired with each course. The menu includes culinary surprises no wizard would want to miss! Event is 6 to 9 p.m. Must be 21+ | Costumes are highly encouraged! Tickets are required and space is limited! Register here.

Dec. 9: Purdue Pete Photo Op. Between 5 & 7 p.m. stop by the hotel lobby for a photo with Purdue Pete. After grabbing a photo, enjoy the holiday lights and decor throughout the hotel and campus. 

Dec. 10: Spa Stocking Stuffer Workshop: Bring rest and relaxation to loved ones - or gift yourself this holiday season - with build-your-own stocking stuffers, spa-style. From 6 to 7 p.m. Tickets here.  

Dec. 11: Spa Discount. 25% off any Spa treatment booked on Dec. 11, redeemable Dec. 15, 2024-Jan. 15, 2025. Book online, in person, or via phone at 765-496-5874. (Note: discount does not populate online booking confirmation. Discount to be applied day-of service. Online bookings valid 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. If you make your appointment over the phone or in person, note that opening hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). 25% off all retail purchased on this day.

Dec. 12: Half off Union Club Hotel Merchandise. All purchases come gift wrapped. Offer excludes Purdue pillows and Spa merchandise. 

Dec. 13: Candle Making Class. Delight your senses your own way by crafting a holiday candle in a festive and soothing atmosphere. Class 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets here.

Dec. 14: Holiday Market. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to stroll among festive vendors between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., sipping cocoa and shopping for some last-minute holiday items - or a little something jolly for yourself! Dec. 15: Santa Paws. Join us in the hotel lobby from 2 to 5 p.m. an share the joy of Christmas with our four-legged friends! Donate to local animal shelters to be entered to win a 1-night stay for 2 at the hotel. Blackout dates apply.

Dec. 16: Wreath Making Class (2 of 2). Join us & 21 Petals Flower Farm for this creative opportunity to craft a meaningful part of your holiday decor. Class from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets here. 

Dec. 17: Holiday Cooking Class. Make some Christmas magic with your own two hands and learn to cook a holiday classic with our Chefs. Class 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets here. 

Dec. 18: Ornament Making Class. From 6 to 7:30 p.m., design your own Christmas tree ornament for your holiday decor, or as a gift for a loved one. Tickets here.  

Dec. 19: 20% Off Seasonal Beverages at Leaps Cafe. Try our limited-time drinks for a reduced rate this day only! (Leaps Coffee Shop is open from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Dec. 20: Merry Music in the Lobby. Get lost in the sounds of a live trio playing holiday favorites in the lobby of the Union Club Hotel between 7 and 9 p.m.

Dec. 21: 15% Off Brunch Special. We're putting the fun back in brunch - especially this holiday season. Come try exciting twists on morning favorites, with a holiday flare. Brunch served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Dec. 23: Self Care Selfie Contest. Getting 10% off your next Spa treatment is as easy as 1, 2, 3! First, take a selfie of what you do to promote wellness in your life. Second, post tagging the Union Club Hotel at #unionclubhotelpurdue. Finally, use the hashtag #selfcareselfie. Then you'll automatically be qualified to receive 10% off your next Spa treatment to be redeemed before Jan. 31, 2025.

Dec. 24: Christmas Eve Special. As we wrap up our 24 Days of Features, we want to finish with an amazing guest experience!
