Event description

Introducing Wayapa Wuurrk an Earth-based mindfulness practice inspired by Aboriginal Australian wisdom, combining movement, storytelling, and connection to nature.

Led by Lisa, a Holistic Kinesiologist to connect your mind, body and spirit, so that you feel calm, in flow and balanced.  Whether it be pain, anxiety, trauma or illness, Lisa helps you explore your innate body wisdom and healing potential.

Lisa is based in Dee Why, and has also trained as a counsellor, is a certified EFT Practitioner, is trauma informed and of course a Wayappa Wuurk Practitioner.

Based in Indigenous wisdom, Wayappa is a powerful mind-body-spirit practice, using mindful-movements, based on 13 elements, to connect you to the earth – to all of creation. This practice is wonderful for anxiety, focus, gently connecting to your body, trauma and is appropriate for any age, gender, religion, belief or spiritual base.

Join Lisa Cohen of In2Balance Kinesiology as she shares the ‘Connection to the Earth’ mindful movement that is WayappWuurk, allowing your anxiety, stress and tension to move and ease. There will be a time of a guided still meditation, and of course the 13 element movement practice.

A note on prices and sustainability of the program

Our commitment is to make this program accessible to everyone in our community regardless of an individual's financial situation. However we don't want payments to be a barrier to participation in the program, if you are in financial hardship please reach out to Mowana and arrangements can be made.
We also strongly believe that our facilitators who dedicate their lives to their crafts should be fairly compensated for their services. If you can afford more than the minimum ticket price, your generosity will contribute to the program's ongoing sustainability.
