Event description

Freedom of Expression

We often filter what we say. But what if you could express yourself—without needing the right words?

In this session, we’ll use art therapy practices to explore the idea of freedom of expression—not as performance or perfection, but as an honest reflection of what’s moving inside. Through simple creative exercises, we’ll loosen the grip of self-censorship and reconnect with our natural impulse to express.

This is about more than making art—it’s about making space.

Space to feel, to reflect, and to express without judgement.

You don’t need to be “creative.” You just need to be willing to see what happens when you let your inner world take shape on the page.

All materials provided. No experience necessary

A note on prices and sustainability of the program

Our commitment is to make this program accessible to everyone in our community regardless of an individual's financial situation. However we don't want payments to be a barrier to participation in the program, if you are in financial hardship please reach out to Mowana and arrangements can be made.
We also strongly believe that our facilitators who dedicate their lives to their crafts should be fairly compensated for their services. If you can afford more than the minimum ticket price, your generosity will contribute to the program's ongoing sustainability.
