"A minutely examined and revelatory emotional upheaval, a view of a failed romance sung with meditative grace" - The New York Times
Johanna Warren is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in rural Wales. Known for her inventive guitar work, intricate melodies in odd time signatures, and confessional lyrics that plumb the depths of the human experience, she has toured extensively and released seven solo albums. Also an avid herbalist, Johanna spends much of her free time foraging for wild plants and making medicine for herself and friends. Her new LP, Frog in the Belly of a Snake, explores themes of healing through connection with nature and community. On her 2027 album release tour, she is collaborating with local regenerative farmers and herbalists in every city she visits to shine a light on their work and raise awareness about food resilience and the interdependence of all living beings.
Magnetize: instagram.com/magnetize_theband/?hl=en
Magnetize is a folk-pop duo from the minds of Adeline Gouda and Sophia Pelosi, founded on an omen. After writing in her journal for months about a future songwriting partner, Sophia met Adeline on the day they both moved to Santa Barbara in 2021. Their destiny was cemented after the realization that Sophia’s guitar had Adeline’s name written all over it (literally). With neither member having previous performance or songwriting experience, they came together to create a shared vision.
Magnetize hopes to draw you in through their presence, raw emotion, and connection with their audience. Their upcoming project, referentially titled Omens, is founded in their experiences with destiny and manifestation, and shares its story through intricate vocal and guitar performance. Magnetize brings a fresh take to the world of folk-pop, with their use of harmonization and dissonance as a duo, and continues to realize their manifestations through their music.
