28th Annual Barley Banquet

The 28th annual AGE (formerly the Wimmera Grain Company) Barley Banquet hosted by the Rupanyup Major Events committee is back in 2025!

Every year, on the third weekend in October, the Rupanyup Major Events committee invites valued sponsors, community members and beyond to enjoy the unique experience of the Barley Banquet!

The RME was founded in 1995 by a group of young local community members as an opportunity to raise funds to support local projects whilst engaging in social events that encourage connectivity and support within the agricultural community of Western Victoria. Since then, the RME has raised over $300,000 for the local community, and intend to continue doing so!

The Barley Banquet is an all class event, held in a local farmer's barley crop each year. We boast a stunning three course meal, entertainment and drinks to celebrate our local community. All funds raised from ticket sales go straight back to our crucial community groups and projects.
