The Thylacine and the Time Machine Graphic Novel workshop
Learn tips and tricks for making comics in this workshop for kids.
(Strictly for children aged 6-12 years)
Join author and illustrator Renee Treml on a wild ride with The Thylacine and the Time Machine as we learn some tricks and tips for making comics!
We’ll chat about the Tasmanian tiger and de-extinction, plus explore tricks and tips for designing characters, capturing emotions, and creating your own short comic story.
Renee is the creator of the CBCA shortlisted graphic novel The Thylacine and the Time Machine, as well as the graphic novels series Sherlock Bones and The Super Adventures of Ollie and Bea.
Please bring a notebook, pencil, and eraser to the workshop.
Bookings are essential for this free event.
This event is strictly for children aged 6 to 12 years. Please do not book children of other ages as places are limited. You do not need to book tickets for adults accompanying children.
Children aged under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
