Introduction

2MFM’s upcoming Symposium aims to raise awareness of the vital role of community broadcasting in Australia, with a special focus on the Muslim community. It aims to bring together community radio representatives, leaders, and members for meaningful dialogue and consultation to help shape 2MFM’s 2025/26 Community Action Plan.

Through workshops and discussions, the event will identify key challenges and opportunities, fostering collaboration and strategies that reflect community needs. The outcomes will inform future programs that are inclusive, responsive, and community-driven.
