The Round (237) featuring musicians

The Hipocrats: www.thehipocrats.com

"Based in Seattle, WA, The Hipocrats are your go-to Americana dreamers, seamlessly blending their hair-raising harmonies, spunky lyrical imagery, and melodies that just stick with you. Their music offers a refreshing twist on classic Americana, appealing to fans across various genres, making them a must-see whenever they roll through your town.

Inspired by real-life experiences with a touch of imaginative flair, Tyler McGinnis and Sarah Brunner embarked on an ambitious and dynamic songwriting journey in the fall of 2021. Their onstage chemistry and whimsical personalities shine bright, captivating audiences with every performance. With nearly 3 years as a duo, The Hipocrats have emerged as a formidable presence in the Pacific Northwest and across the country.

Since their inception, The Hipocrats have played over 350 shows, including 11 major tours, leaving a mark on audiences nationwide. Notably, their "Road to Joy" tour was a journey consisting of 90 shows in 26 states over 5 months. This unforgettable trek took them to iconic venues like the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles and The Saxon Pub in Austin, culminating with a memorable performance at The Tractor Tavern in Seattle, where they opened for Grammy-nominated artist Will Hoge.

"Friend Ship Joyride," The Hipocrats' debut album, is out now on all streaming services, as well as on vinyl and CD. Produced by Grammy-award winning artist Chance McCoy and released under Robust Records, "Friend Ship Joyride" captures the essence of years spent in friendship, as well as the journey of growing older, learning invaluable lessons, and navigating through life's twists and turns. Lauren Eva Lane: www.instagram.com/laurenevalane

"Lauren Eva Lane is a Seattle-based musician whose sound weaves together the heart of folk, the edge of rock, and the storytelling of Americana. Her blend of influences creates a unique, genre-defying style that resonates deeply with listeners. With her rich, emotive voice and compelling lyrics, Lauren Eva Lane is a rising star in the Seattle music scene, bringing a fresh perspective and heartfelt authenticity to every performance." - Artist Bio

Zoser: www.zoserofficial.com

"Zoser is a singer/songwriter and music bender whose music has no boundaries.  With a soulful voice, thoughtful lyrics, and a guitar, his music shifts seamlessly between pop, hip-hop, R&B, and folk. As an emerging Seattle artist, Zoser began playing guitar when he was just 10-years-old. By the age of 12, he began penning his own lyrics and performing to local audiences in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia.  He made his recording debut in 2019 with the EP release “Genesis” followed by the EP “Evolve” in 2020,  independently recorded and released.  Currently he is working on an album with Loosegroove Records, a Seattle based record label founded by Stone Gossard(of Pearl Jam) and Regan Hagar. Zoser has crafted a sound that is wholly and undeniably his own. The result is something spectacular to behold: a voice that conveys a world-weary ache and a bright optimism, and a sense of musicality that is both rhythmic and infectiously melodic. He is a singer, a storyteller and something of a revelation – not necessarily a soul singer but something rarer and more precious – a singer with soul." - Artist Bio

& live painter Valeria Ortiz www.valeriaortizfineart.com

"Seattle-based muralist and visual artist Valeria Ortiz has over a decade of experience in the creative realm and has explored a diverse range of mediums, including painting, drawing, illustration, graphic design, editing, and printmaking. Upon relocating to Seattle, her fascination with murals blossomed, leading her to complete many mural projects around the city.

Her approach to art projects is not just about creating visually stunning pieces, but about capturing the essence of her subjects. Her process is deeply rooted in collaboration and storytelling. By actively listening to the stories and perspectives of community members, she strives to create artworks that truly resonate with the diverse tapestry of voices within the community.

As an artist, she finds solace in creating, connecting with fellow creators, and building a community that celebrates diversity and authenticity. For her, art is a means of expression and a journey of self-discovery, a canvas upon which she explores the depths of emotions and identity. She uses bold strokes and vibrant hues to imbue meaning into every brushstroke." - Artist Bio
