Event description
Abbey Arts presents: Canvas Rose EP Release Show Interrupt the Loop with Arielle Therese, Shelby Natasha Christ, Josh Pehrson, Clark Igawa, and Miguel Escobar
Canvas Rose: direct.me/candicerose
"Canvas is releasing their debut EP, Interrupt the Loop, produced and engineered by Shelby Natasha Christ. Interrupt the Loop is a six-song EP that weaves together the deeply personal with the collective journey we're on during these defining times.
Canvas offers ethereal, healing synth sounds that carry a message of liberation, collective awakening, and the power of vulnerability. Their work is intended as both respite and an invitation to grow and embrace our truest selves. March 15 Canvas will be joined on stage by many of the incredible artists who helped make this album possible, including Shelby Natasha on guzheng and ghost harmonies, Clark Igawa on cello, Miguel Escobar on guitar, Josh Pehrson on percussion, and Arielle Therese on harmonies. Daniel Nelson will be concocting some very special visual magic for this release show.
Canvas is a lifelong song catcher who grew up in a cult in the Pacific Northwest. Their early childhood & young adult experiences have shaped them into the artist they are today: one who has used music to heal their own trauma, rewire their brain, & interrupt the loops that no longer serve them.
You can reach Canvas and sign up to hear about new music and upcoming shows at direct.me/candicerose or canvasrose.bandcamp.com." - Artist Bio

Her songs carry healing messages of self-liberation and honoring this unique moment in history of the great turning. The essence of her music centers on self-growth and a regenerative philosophy where all beings and living systems are uplifted and protected.
