3-Day Workshop: Design & Sew Softies • Sat, Nov. 9 - Mon, Nov. 11 (Tweens & Teens)

This workshop is for tweens (ages 11 - 15) who LOVE art-making, inventing, crafts, and bringing their creative ideas to life resourcefully!

SCRAP is excited to offer a unique 3-day fiber arts workshop focused on the design and sewing of soft, stuffed creatures and friends! In this workshop, participants will learn hands-on about:

• Fabric, common sewing materials, and essential sewing tools.
• How to design a pattern for a simple, 3-dimensional stuffie/softie
• Hand-sewing and beginner machine sewing!

Day 1 will start with design creation, and then we'll work through all 3 days to bring our stuffed friends to life! We invite participants to bring in a stuffed animal from home on Day 1 to investigate how it was made!

Every day's schedule:
Drop off: 10:45-11am (Programming begins at 11am)
Lunch: 12:30-1pm
Pick up: 3-3:15pm (Programming ends at 3pm)

Tickets are $225 per participant for twelve total hours of hands-on learning across 3 fun days! Apply for a scholarship here!

Cancelation & refund policy:
90% refund until three weeks before your workshop start date, 50% refund until two weeks before your workshop start date. No refunds for cancellations less than 14 days.
