Event description

Come and join us for this well loved, long running palliative care conference, now in it’s 34th year.

The theme this year is:

New Beginnings at End of Life: Aren't You Just Dying to Know?

As we celebrate 34 years of fostering collaboration and innovation in palliative care, this theme encourages curiosity, compassion, and the discovery of new possibilities. Aligned with Dying to Know Day, engage in conversations about life, death, and everything in between. Through thought-provoking discussions, cutting-edge research, and real-world stories, we will explore how end-of-life care can also spark new beginnings—for patients, families, and healthcare professionals alike.

The speakers:
As always, we have secured a line up of speakers that will engage and fascinate.  Our keynote speaker will be Dr Jo Doran, a senior consultant with over 30 years’ experience from Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, who will be sharing her insights regarding communication in palliative care.
