Event description

Dive into the world of eco-friendly creativity at our 3D Mosaic Workshop! This engaging session invites you to explore the art of three-dimensional mosaics while embracing sustainable practices.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to construct stunning 3D mosaic pieces using a variety of repurposed and donated materials.

Our incredible instructor, Barbara Paris, will guide you through innovative techniques to create depth and dimension in your artwork, all while emphasizing the importance of using sustainable and upcycled materials. As you work, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, connect with fellow participants, and discover how art can reflect our commitment to the environment.

Feel free to bring your favorite drink to enjoy while you unleash your creativity. At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind 3D mosaic masterpiece and a renewed appreciation for sustainable artistry. Join us and make art that matters!

This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) Workshop.  All participants must be 21 years of age or older.

About the instructor

Barbara Paris’s work can be found in many public and private art collections throughout North and South America.

Currently based in Austin, Texas, she was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. Barbara received her B.A. in Art Education and B.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Massachusetts.

Barbara describes her work as intention. That is, she puts the paint where it belongs and the paint goes on to become what it is. She works with strong color and texture, adding elements such as glass and paper to the canvas, the purpose of which is to surround herself with things that make her feel good, and to share that feeling with others.

See more of Barbara's art at her website.
