PM – Getting Started with 3D Printing – Files, Printing & Printer Care
Event description
Want to get the most out of your 3D printer? Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your setup, this practical workshop is for you!
We’ll guide you through the complete process—from preparing and slicing 3D files to setting up prints on your machine, plus how to care for and maintain your printer for long-term use. This session is particularly helpful for Ender-style printers, but open to all brands.
🔍 Is My 3D Printer Suitable for This Workshop?
This session is best suited for small, desktop-sized Ender-style 3D printers—commonly used by hobbyists and home users. If you're unsure, check if your printer is on this list or similar in style.
Compatible examples include:
Creality Ender 3 / Pro / V2 / V3 / Ender 5
Creality CR-10 Mini / CR-10S / CR-10 V3
Voxelab Aquila models
Anycubic Kobra Go / Neo
Sovol SV01 / SV06
Artillery Genius / Sidewinder X1
BIQU B1 / BX
FLSUN i3-style printers (not Delta models)
If your printer has a heated bed, a moving Y-axis bed, and accepts sliced files via microSD or SD card—it likely qualifies as Ender-style.
Bring your questions! We'll finish with a helpful Q&A session to troubleshoot problems and support your specific needs.
🖨️ Bringing your own 3D printer (in-person)? Please let us know before the day so we have a powered spot for you.
