4/20 Art Retreat in Michigan

Join us for a 4 day Art Retreat in South Haven, Michigan!

April 18-21, 2025

Activities will include: 
Art Workshops, Local Art Gallery tours, Dispensaries/Wineries/Breweries, Good Food, Laughs, Fun, & Relaxation.

INFO:

• Cost for art workshops:
  Option 1: FULL ART PACKAGE $175 total (Includes 5 projects to be done with instructor Melissa Cain.)
  Option 2: PARTIAL ART PACKAGE $105 total (includes 3-4 projects to be done with Melissa- detailed package options below) 
• These prices do not include food, accommodations, or any LOCAL art workshops not done with Melissa Cain)
• Deposits due by March 22, 2025
• Remaining balance due by April 8, 2025 (You can also make payments! please contact me for a payment plan) 
• You will need to make your own travel & accommodations arrangements. 
  I am trying to decide between an airbnb right on Lake Michigan, or this amazing campground 5 miles from the Lake!

  This would be pretty fun to have everyone stay here! Total cost for 3 nights would be less than $100 per person! Check it out!

Tentative Itinerary: 
All plans are tentative and will be optional. 
Day one: Friday (4/18)

Travel from Indy
Meet n greet Lunch 12pm (Location TBD) 
Visit dispensaries, wineries & breweries  
Dinner (location TBD)
Paint and sip (& Smoke!) 7pm (Location TBD)
(this project will include using a sunset photograph, and acrylic paint! Bring your own photo, or use one of mine) 

Day two: Saturday (4/19)
Breakfast 
Plein air painting at or near a lighthouse 
Beach walk
Lunch/Local art gallery tour 
Dinner (location TBD)
Resin art workshop (we will add resin to the sunset painting and lighthouse painting we've done)
Fluid Art workshop (fluid art is quick! So you will have the option to do one or two of these!) 

Day three: Sunday (4/20!!)
Breakfast
Dispensary shopping
maybe a hike? 
Local Art workshop (location TBD) 
Dinner (location TBD)
DIY Clock workshop & add 2nd layer of resin to both paintings (Bring your own clock and save $5! you can find a good clock at thrift stores for about $5) 

Day four: Monday
Breakfast/Check out
Shopping and lunch (optional)
Travel home

FULL ART package includes: 2 acrylic paintings with resin, 2 paint pours, 1 clock) 
PARTIAL ART package options: any 3 of the above, limit of 1 painting with resin)
