4-Week Beginner Tap Workshop

Ever wanted to learn tap dancing? Now is your chance! This is a beginners tap dance class for adults, run by queers, for queers.

Hay and Jo have taught tap together for about 15 years. We seriously love tap, but are silly about pretty much everything else. Join us for a 4 week beginners workshop in August where you can learn basic techniques along with a version of the shim sham - a classic tap routine that you can bust out on any dance floor. You'll also be introduced to tap jamming, where you can improvise with other dancers to create fun rhythms together.

All abilities welcome - shoot us an email at queertap@gmail.com if you have any questions or queries. You don't need tap shoes to participate - hard soled dress shoes or brogues are best. We also have a whole box of tap shoes to borrow from, so come along and see what fits.
