48 Hour Laugh-A-Thon: Team Show featuring Radical Joy, KaleidoScene, and Fugue State

For this special weekend event, we are featuring the best improv comedy Dallas has to offer with our Teams Shows! Each show will feature three different teams doing an array of long-form improvisational stylings topped off with musical improv. Grab your coffee and brunch goodies for this fabulous brunch show at 10:30 am with Radical Joy, KaleidoScene, Fugue State: A One Man Improvised Musical!

Radical Joy, Stomping Ground’s newest improv House Team, presents an unscripted experience like no other. Find humor in the unexpected and absurd as the group takes you to a fully improvised funeral. Performers portray mourners with varying relationships to the deceased and offer a brief eulogy to the audience; with each eulogy comes a glimpse into the deceased’s life that reveals absurdity, chaos, and most of all laughter. Performers include Chris Eisterhold, Anythony Lucchi, Lin Woodson, Elli Baker, Tyler Vornberg, Brandon Enriquez, Isabelle Qui, and Juan Zaragoza III. The team is coached by Joel Mendez-Zarate.

KaleidoScene performs the iconic JTS Brown improv comedy format, tailor-made for this stacked 3-person cast. This unique improv format features a cacophony of sounds, inanimate objects, sensory exploration, monologues, and more. Like a kaleidoscope fragmenting and scrambling the gestalt of an image, so too do they move through the whole of the show in a surreal, dream-like fashion. KaleidoScene features Whitney Peters, Hayden McGovern, and Natalia Trigo.

In Fugue State, one man and one pianist create a one-of-a-kind musical on the spot! Stomping Ground Training Center Director and veteran performer Greg Mihalik improvises a musical by himself with the help of esteemed accompanist and musical director Joshua Diamond. Watch in wonder as Greg takes the audience on a musical journey that follows the path of several unique, larger-than-life characters all played by one man. Come see what the Dallas Observer called "a one-man show that's actually impressive."

Stomping Ground's 48 Hour Laugh-A-Thon is an exciting, nonstop comedy marathon showcasing talented improvisers and guest performers in support of our mission to educate, entertain, and empower the community – connecting people through comedy. The 2025 Core Performers appearing in all shows are Greg Mihalik, Shenelle Peart, Melanie Robinson, Milo Michelle Wilder, Ianne Warshawsky, Josh Reus, Nathaniel Weathersby, Lynsey Hale, Whitney Peters, John Gerhardt, and musical accompanist Josh Diamond.
