    Event description

Echo Valley Farm invites you to join in the celebration of community, ecology, and regenerative food and farming.

2024 marks 10 years of Echo Valley working with the landscape to feed our community all while ensuring its practices are Good for the animal, Good for the land, Good for the farmer, and Good for you.

We will be celebrating this achievement, as well as engaging with and inspiring those passionate about community, country, and local food. This event promises to be an immersive experience that will leave you with a deepened love for country, an appreciation for regenerative agriculture, community, and a warm full belly.

With a diverse mix of speakers, workshops, and local food, this one-day event offers an opportunity for our greater community to engage in learning, sharing, community building, and celebration of agroecology. This is an event that we plan to make an ongoing annual celebration, highlighting the Southern Queensland region, the incredible food produced here, and to shine a spotlight on the beneficial outcomes that regenerative agriculture and agroecology brings to country, community, and the farmers who practice it.

    SHARING SHED

Come along to hear some of our great mates (experienced farmers and agronomists) discuss Economy, Ecology, Community and Self in our Sharing Shed. Engage in a panel, and question and answer, session exploring how we can truly grow food responsibly and in partnership with our landscape, in our current economic climate.

    INTERACTIVE FREE ACTIVITIES

    WORKSHOPS

    Workshop promo

On the day we're also hosting a number of workshops you can book in for in advance, which are a great opportunity for a select group to dive deeper into different aspects of Echo Valley’s ecological process. From soil health to subtle energy, even a hands-on sausage making workshop, there is a diverse range of experiences for everyone attending. Plus, a unique opportunity to plant a tree into the landscape on the day with guest speaker Tanya from Wallaby Creek!  Field Day Workshops are ticketed events, and tickets are sold separately.

    FOOD, DRINK & PARKING

Celebration is about good food as well, and so on the day we will have a variety of options for people to purchase from our very own Bacon & Egg rolls, Frittata, Brisket Burgers and more! The amazing good food makers at Indie Bakehouse, Alphabet Cafe and Toowoomba's Taste & Design Co. will also have a range of delicious options, all produced with good, local, and nutrient dense food! Drinks likewise will be available on the day, with water stations for those wanting to fill their bottles. The amazing team at Felons have sponsored all the drinks for the afternoon and evening events ~ local craft beer, cider & more!

For those that are wanting to watch their budget a little more, we absolutely encourage and welcome you to bring your own packed lunches. There will be a box of picnic blankets available on the day, and lots of space for everyone to sit around and enjoy the atmosphere!

There will be ample parking available on the day, along with seating, picnic blankets, and toilets accommodating all accessibility needs.

#4GOODS BEER, BEEF & BONFIRE NIGHT

The day will culminate in an all inclusive Bonfire and Beers event! We had planned an exclusive, catered dinner however with limited tickets sold, and the challenge for many on price point, we have instead opted for an event that welcomes and includes everyone! Dave & Tash from Taste & Design Co will still be treating your taste buds with a range of delicious meal options that you can purchase (market style) all throughout the day and into the evening. Meanwhile, the team from Felons will have your thirst quenched with their delicious brews and sparkling delights. There will also be a large range of non-alcoholic drinks available, along with water throughout the day. Situated in the paddock with a big bonfire and seating around, THIS is something you don't want to miss out on!

    ACCOMODATION

As this event will require most to travel, there are a number of accommodation options in the local vicinity that attendees can access.

Should you have trouble accessing accommodation, please contact us, as there may be options for stays on farm or the local farms just near us.
