The Institute for Indo-Pacific Affairs, together with the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Canterbury is pleased to present a webinar option for the 4th Canterbury Conference on Indo-Pacific Security:“Perceptions of Indo-Pacific Security: Challenges and Opportunities”. The Conference gathers various experts from around the region to discuss the challenges and opportunities that exist for the various states of the Indo-Pacific as they navigate this new geopolitical strategic environment.

This year, the Conference is a 1.5 day event, with the first day programme starting from 1.00pm NZT to 5.00pm NZT and continuing the next day from 9.30am NZT to 5.00pm NZT. This year we are pleased to present a Day 1 programme with features inputs from policymakers and practitioners while on Day 2, the programme will focus on perspectives from academia.

The Conference is proudly sponsored by the Asia New Zealand Foundation, the Crossboundary Management Education Foundation, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New Zealand and the United States Department of State.
