Sharpen your woodworking and power tool skills while having a blast in this exciting 5 week program!

Learn:

Week 1 - 101 Power tools - sanders, drill, impact driver and jigsaw

Week 2 - Electric plainer and thicknesser

Week 3 - Drop saw

Week 4 - Table saw

We'll be working on lots of different projects and using lots of different hand/power tools. We recommend looking at plans from www.anawhite.com.

Notes:

1. All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors.

2. Wear closed toed shoes and old clothes appropriate for woodworking.

3. Children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.

4. You need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.

5. Bring a water bottle, snack and lunch for yourself

6. We charge extra for native wood from wk2-5. Pine is part of the cost.

• Parking: please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd. Please do not drive past the gravel and onto the concrete area.
