Event description

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the end of the American War in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. It's commonly referred to as the Vietnam War.

Today, we are still resisting the U.S. war machine and global militarism. How can we learn from Vietnam’s struggle against imperialism? To build a future beyond capitalism, to defeat fascism and work towards Black, Afrikan, brown, & Palestinian liberation?

Two Solidarity Posters connecting Palestinian and Vietnamese resistance. One poster reads "Vietnam to Palestine, one struggle many fronts," from the Democratic Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DPFLP), by artist Kamal Boullata, copyright circa 1972. Second poster reads "From Vietnam to Palestine," in English, and "From the River to the Sea" in Tiếng Việt and Arabic, with two people holding a banner that reads "No one is free until we are all free," by artist @thim4i, for @flyers_for_falastin, copyright 2024.
