Music in the Arboretum - ‘50 Years of 1976'

The Pearl Beach Arboretum will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with the “Hits of 1976” (or "50 Years of 1976") presented by The Album Show in two dynamic live music sets each 40-50 minutues long. The show features popular music hits released or recorded in 1976 - a key year for social evolution, musical styles and popular culture - breeding new sounds and fashions that resonate, now 50 years later.

The concert supports the care and improvement of the Arboretum which is open to all for free during daylight hours. The Arboretum is a completely volunteer run not for profit organisation.

1976 was a critical year in music history and the show includes hits by Rod Stewart, ABBA. WINGS, ELTON JOHN, QUEEN, SHERBET, AC/DC, FLEETWOOD MAC, LEO SAYER, BEE GEES and many more. With a 5 piece band and a little bit of a history lesson, The Album Show will present a showcase of as many of these iconic tracks as possible in a 2 set, 2 hour plus show!

Don’t miss out on this unique musical opportunity, to have some fun, and dance along to iconic music we all know and love. Patrons are encouraged to bring a chair, picnic and rug. Perhaps even come dressed for the era - there will be a best dressed prize!

There will be ample parking available near the Pearl Beach Tennis Courts, access via Tourmaline Avenue and Opal Close.
