Join us to celebrate 5 years of Containers for Change in Albany a milestone made possible by everyday legends like you!

Green Skills Inc. invites families, community members, local organisations, and recycling champions to a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration that recognises the incredible community effort behind WA’s container deposit scheme.

This event is all about celebrating the Hidden Heroes. The quiet champions who’ve helped make a big difference through consistent participation in container returns.

💚 What’s Happening on the Day

• 🎶 Live music by David Rastrick & Jake Knight

• 🏅 “Hidden Heroes” Awards Ceremony celebrating top community contributors

• 🎨 Kids activity zones games, colouring-in comp, giveaways

• 🌭 Free sausage sizzle, cake, and soft drinks (CDS-eligible containers!)

• 🛍️ WARRRL giveaways mesh bags, pop-up bins & more

• ♻️ Interactive displays about the container journey and impact

• 💚 Donation station to support Green Skills’ environmental work
