5th Annual Jazz on the Grass - A Celebration of an Iconic Genre of Music!

The Compton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Presents: The 5th Annual Jazz on the Grass!

Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of smooth grooves, soulful vibes, and community spirit as we host our 5th Annual Jazz on the Grass community concert and fundraiser!

Hosted by KJLH’s own Aundrae Russell, this year’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular:

· Tatiana Tate – Trumpeter and composer.

· Adrian Crutchfield – Acclaimed saxophonist known for his jazz and funk flair.

· Marcus Anderson – Two-time Grammy nominated saxophonist.

· Will Downing – Prince of Sophisticated Soul, Jazz, and R&B.

· Biscuits & Gravy Live – Old School R & B, Funk & Soul Tribute Band.

In between sets, vibe with DJ Ray (KJLH) on the 1’s and 2’s, explore our vendor marketplace, and enjoy local food trucks. (Outside food and snacks welcome — no alcohol please!)

Proceeds benefit: Scholarship funds, Youth programs, and Community service initiatives.
