6 Fears + 6 Body Antidotes, an Online Class with Laureli Shimayo on 1-28-25
Description
When we communicate clearly and completely, we’re able to share and hear + be understood and understand ~ in ways that invite and create collaboration and connection. When we’ve mastered these skills, we’re also able to recognize and own when we’re not using them.
In this class, we'll explore the 6 forms of Fear ~ how they show up in the body ~ and also 6 Body Antidotes ~ tools for authenticity and connection.
I've previously taught classes on 4 forms of Fear: Freeze, Flee, Faint + Fight and their corresponding shifts. Here I've added two new forms of Fear: Fawn + Flood and their corresponding Antidotes.
Feeling Fear is helpful when there is a threat where we can usefully take, prevent or change our actions, such as when we see a snake on our path. However feeling Fear is not helpful when we lose access to our resources, become defensive in a relationship, or propagate our Fear into anxiety.
Join us to learn how to recognize your Fear in the moment and do Antidotes so you flow ~ and feel fully, stay present, are authentic and are resourceful.
