Event description

It's on again - the much anticipated 65 Roses Car and Bike Rally.   This fantastic event is fun for the whole family - you don't need to own a motorbike to take part.  You can come along in a car you want to show off - or you can even come along in your family car and still be part of all the fun.

This event has been made possible by the hard work of a group of dedicated volunteers from the Vietnam Veterans and Veterans Motorcycle Club (Tasmania). Their support is incredible, and over the last three 65 Roses Car and Bike Rallies, they have raised over $53,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.  We can't thank them enough for giving up so much of their time and putting in so much hard work to make this event successful.

What can you expect?
  • Participants are asked to gather at the car park in Dru Point in Margate from 9 am.   You can grab some merchandise (including this year's new Colonel Ted or a T-shirt), buy a delicious egg and bacon roll or grab a coffee, meet your fellow participants and get your first cards for the poker hand (which is how you could win money at the end of the day)
  • There will be a mandatory safety briefing at around 9:40 am before the ride-off at 10 am.
  • You will be provided with a map, but participants will also ride in convoy through the scenic Channel and Huon areas with several stops along the way for a quick break, comfort stop and maybe grab a raffle ticket or sports card entry with great prizes to be won.
  • There will be a delicious BBQ lunch available at the Southport Tavern (at your own cost).  The ride will then wind its way back to the Kingborough area, with an anticipated finish at around 3:00 pm. The raffle and sports cards will be drawn, poker hand winners will be announced, and spot prizes will be awarded.   Stay at the last venue to celebrate a great day out and wonderful fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania.
  • Each person taking part needs to register - (if there are four people in the car, then four registrations must be purchased).
