Integrating Wholeness Realization Process and Movement Workshop - Presented by Sono Hashisaki @ FREMONT ABBEY
Event description
Integrating Wholeness
Realization Process and Movement Workshop
Presented by Sono Hashisaki with guest teacher, Jadi Carboni
The Realization Process offers practices to experience deep contact with ourselves in our bodies. Such somatic practices, as well as postmodern dance techniques, consider the body as whole, restoring balance through awareness. This embodied contact is an entranceway to a dimension of ourselves that is made of pure consciousness. In this workshop, we will experience contact with the inner world of the self in dialogue with the outer realm. In stillness and movement, we can connect to our greater wholeness and ground ourselves in each moment.
Sono will guide us in meditation and movement exercises from Realization Process to deepen our experience of being made of and living in fundamental consciousness. Visiting teacher, Jadi Carboni, joins us for this special workshop. She will lead us in activities influenced by Open Source Forms, Qi gong, with imaging and body mapping and other practices she has developed. Jadi is a dancer, choreographer and body-worker. She is an eclectic performing artist, working in public spaces with dancers and
non/dancers.
Sono and Jadi are inspired by the same life principles and rooted in the same life philosophy. We are very honored to offer this workshop together. People of all physical abilities and backgrounds are welcome.
