7467 presented by Kudos
Event description
Kudos presents '7467', a contemporary exhibition reimagining of the 'Seven Deadly Sins' and its histories.
Hamish Alexander and Long Truong have given birth to technology-bound deities, born out of practices exploring spirituality, sexuality, and emergent social and cultural phenomena. Individual works within this show tackle the dissemination of violent content online, the creation of the new-age anthro-figure, the subversion of spiritual iconographies and the existence of sexuality as framed by our past histories and present technologies. Our space is a place of worship to interact with your new age Gods and learn more about the neo-deities that transform your life through modern technologies.
Location: 189 Crown St, Darlinghurst NSW 2010
Opening: 30th of July, 6 pm - 8 pm.
Accessibility: 1 step up into the space. Single level with access to a toilet. Small, confined space with the ability to move in and out of the exhibition as one needs. Includes loud sounds, projections and scent. Seating upon request.
