Event description

Join us for A Creative Evening with Tristan Heinicke, at the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, for a night of music, visual arts, and a panel with fellow creatives in an immersive space. This special night will consist of a DJ set from Icecreamcult to kick off the night along with a special performance by BATTERY leading to our headliner, Tristan Heinicke, with a screening of his debut album/experimental film The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction aling with a Q&A + panel to conclude the night.

Tristan Heinicke:

"Tristan Heinicke is a guitarist, composer, and multimedia artist leaving no sonic stone unturned. Having just completed his debut experimental film "The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction," Tristan has taken the full creative reins to explore hard hitting rock music, experimental electronic sounds, ambient and viscous noise, and a type of avant garde folk that can only be described as unique." - Artist Bio

Jacob Richards:

"Jacob Richards' BATTERY is a high-energy solo drum set and electronics project at the intersection of jazz, electronic music, and world percussion. Drum triggers allow Richards to simultaneously play deep and generative synth textures and chords while playing drums. The music elaborates on simple song forms, including jazz standards and video game music, to create complex rhythms over a bed of electronically synthesized sounds. BATTERY explores the boundaries between human and machine through improvisation and the organic qualities of the drum." - Artist Bio

Ice Cream Cult:

"Ice Cream Cult (often stylized as Icecreamcult) is the solo musical project of DJ/Producer/Multi-instrumentalist Riley Adair. Icecreamcult is inspired by late night bumps and has played around the Pacific Northwest with shows that blend DJing, solo piano and remixed works all together." - Artist Bio
