Bright, colorful, and brilliant, Lucy Gallant has created her own genre, which she lovingly calls bohemian folk-pop. Anchored in folk roots but fiercely original, experimental, and avant-garde, the Australian songstress has been hailed as one of the most talented indie artists on the global stage. With a growing fanbase of over 100,000 followers across her platforms, Lucy's vibrant presence continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
Her journey as a performer has taken her across the USA, South and Central America, Japan, Australia, NZ, the UK, and much of Europe. She has dazzled audiences at intimate venues and iconic festivals such as Glastonbury Festival, Beautiful Days (UK), Art Basel (US), and Australia’s largest festivals, including Splendour in the Grass, Woodford Folk Festival, and Byron Bay Bluesfest.
Lucy’s rich multicultural heritage—Burmese, Russian, Irish, and Australian—is infused into her music. A one-woman show and multi-instrumentalist, Lucy creates high-energy rhythms on the Cajón while simultaneously singing, playing guitar, and using chimes. Her soulful, unique voice, characterized by a jazzy undertone, has been compared to Billie Holiday, Amy Winehouse, and Regina Spektor. A prolific songwriter, she has written over 1,000 songs since her childhood.
Every performance by Lucy is a unique experience, with no live set ever the same. Her mission is to inspire a global movement of love and liberation, encouraging her audience to celebrate their individuality and embrace freedom.
